Platform / Call workflows
Connect AI calls
to business tasks.
A call workflow is a set of steps your AI agent follows. Use Saloma to collect details, check information and trigger approved actions in your business systems. Review and test each workflow before use.
How it works
Example: follow up on a customer request.
- 01
Collect details
The agent asks for the information your workflow needs.
- 02
Check the rules
Your workflow checks the inputs, permissions and connected account.
- 03
Run the action
Update a record, check an appointment time or send an approved message.
- 04
Review the result
Your team can inspect the steps and check failed or uncertain actions.
Call workflows & integrations
Set the steps your AI agent follows.
Build call workflows in a visual editor. Collect details, connect your systems and choose what happens next. Review the actions taken during each call.
- Choose the call steps in a visual editor. Use speech or keypad input, decisions, transfers, recordings and reusable groups of steps. Run supported workflows before, during or after a call. Set paths for success and failure.
- Connect approved business tools. Developers can use REST APIs, which let systems exchange data, and MCP, a standard for connecting AI to tools. Messaging options include WhatsApp Cloud, Telegram and email. Omni / Chatwoot supports outbound WhatsApp templates, email, SMS and API inboxes.
- Start with 50 providers selected by platform administrators. This is not a fixed limit. More supported providers can be enabled. Connect customer relationship management (CRM), calendars, messaging, online stores and data tools after setup and approval.
- Test your Omni connection before use. Find available inboxes and message templates. Choose which channel to try next if sending fails. Supported sending paths check blocked recipients and control retries.
- Follow a release checklist before publishing. Check connections and approve a workflow version. Live agents and campaigns keep their selected version until you choose to update it. Saving a draft does not change a live workflow.
- Review each step and connected action. Check usage records, waiting jobs, failed steps and service status. Supported replay controls reuse saved tool results. If message delivery is uncertain, Saloma flags it for review before you resend.
- Reuse templates and compare versions. Test steps without making live changes, using sample responses from connected tools. Developers can also manage workflows through authenticated APIs and the MCP authoring interface.
