What does an AI voice agent do?
An AI voice agent speaks with callers and responds to their requests. Saloma can answer common questions, capture details and run approved workflows. It works with phone lines and website voice calls. Supported setups also let people monitor calls, take over or receive transfers. View the Saloma platform.
Who is Saloma AI for?
Saloma is for businesses that handle repeat questions, appointment requests, reminders and follow-up calls. Examples include customer support teams, clinics, hotels and service businesses. Use AI for routine enquiries and keep staff responsible for sensitive questions and decisions. The Hope Clinic recording is a demo, not a customer case study. View business use cases.
Can Saloma transfer a call to a person?
Yes, supported phone setups can transfer calls to approved contacts. Approved supervisors can also listen to phone and website calls and take over in their browser. Transfers depend on the AI model, phone connection and call state. A supervisor cannot transfer a call out of browser takeover. Check human handoff options.
Can Saloma connect to my CRM and calendar?
Yes, through supported connections and configured workflows. For example, Saloma can update HubSpot records, create Zendesk tickets, or check Google Calendar availability and create events. A CRM is a system for managing customer records. There are 50 preselected connections to start with, not a fixed limit. Account access, permissions and provider plans affect available actions. How much does Saloma AI cost?
Saloma AI uses a quote based on your needs. There is no single public per-minute rate. Cost factors include call usage, outbound attempts, simultaneous calls, agent licences, AI models, phone services, integrations and storage. Internal tests and some previews can incur charges. Ask for a quote that lists included usage and extra fees. Check pricing factors.
Can businesses in Asia and the Middle East use Saloma?
Saloma is built for businesses worldwide, including Malaysia, Southeast Asia (SEA), the wider Asia region and the Middle East. Availability needs to be checked for each setup. Confirm phone coverage, number support, AI provider access and local requirements before launch. Language and voice options depend on the model. We do not promise that every phone service is available in every country.
What should I compare when choosing an AI phone agent?
Test the calls your customers actually make. Include interruptions, background noise, unexpected questions and human transfers. Check the exact CRM and calendar actions you need. Compare total costs, not only the per-minute rate. Review user access, recordings, data retention and consent requirements. Saloma’s controls do not guarantee regulatory compliance. Review security and privacy controls.
How can I hear or try Saloma?
Play the Hope Clinic voice demo without microphone access. To try a live browser call, use the floating call button and allow microphone access. Live calls need a supported device and working connection. Availability and usage limits apply. You can also request a demo for your business.
How do I set up an AI receptionist?
Enter your business details, create an agent and add approved information. Test its answers, connect a supported phone system and make a real test call. Saloma’s checklist tracks saved progress. When enabled, Help Angel beta can explain settings with source links and numbered steps. It does not change settings for you. Screen sharing can be turned off. View the setup steps.
Can I use Saloma without storing call recordings?
Recording and retention settings can be changed for ordinary agents. Optional High Privacy mode also avoids individual call records, stored transcripts and caller memory in Saloma. It is only for prepared inbound phone setups. It disables supervision, workflows, callbacks, per-call reports and Smart Protection. Website calls and browser voice tests are unavailable in this mode. Providers still process audio and may keep records. Check the full privacy requirements.
Which languages can Saloma speak?
Saloma offers 70+ languages across supported voice options. The available languages and accents depend on the AI model and voice provider. Automatic language switching supports fewer languages than the full voice range. Confirm your required language and test real phrases before launch. The website call button’s 16 interface languages are separate from voice support. View voice and language options.
Can Saloma work with my existing phone system?
Saloma can connect to supported phone systems. Compatibility depends on your provider, line settings and call routing. Share your current phone setup and number requirements so our team can check them. Do not assume that every number or provider is supported. Complete a real incoming call test before launch. Check phone setup steps.
Can customers use the website call button on a mobile phone?
Yes, on supported mobile browsers with a microphone and permission to use it. Visitors also need a working connection and an HTTPS website. Browser support, device settings and network conditions can affect audio. Test the phones and browsers your customers use. The call button handles voice, not text chat. Check website voice requirements.
